KlassikDrain - K100S DRAIN SYSTEM

ACO KlassikDrain - K100S is a modular trench drain system whose components consist of a polymer concrete drainage channel and versatile grating. Drainage channels are commonly manufactured in one meter, 0.6% pre-sloping lengths. For enhanced design flexibility, select channels are also available in 1/2 meter lengths and "neutral", non-sloping lengths. Grating alternatives range from Class A pedestrian rated grates to Class E industrial rated heavy duty grates.

POLYMER CONCRETE - ACO polymer concrete is a versatile, highly durable material with a smooth surface finish that is ideal for channel drainage. Polymer concrete channels are available with standard polyester or optional vinyl ester resin binders, reinforced by mineral aggregates and fillers. Compared to conventional concrete, polymers offer distinct advantages:

• Low moisture absorption rate
• Resilient to repeated freeze-thaw cycles
• Smooth surface, lower friction coefficient, higher hydraulic performance
• Lightweight
• Higher compressive strength

EASY TO DESIGN - ACO KlassikDrain K100S systems are easy to design. There are no complicated falls to calculate (built-in slope), and they are easily specified and detailed. The choice between different systems, loading capacities and grating selection make KlassikDrain systems preferred for many applications.

EFFICIENCY/PERFORMANCE - Layout of the system and installation of the channels is simple and efficient. Compared to the traditional cast-in-place method, construction is quick and straightforward, consuming far less field labor.

EASY TO INSTALL - The smooth interior radiused channel surface improves overall hydraulic performance. The removable grating permits easy access for cleaning and maintenance. The durability of the polymer concrete improves and extends the service life of the drainage installation.
