Chemgrate Resin Systems

Grating Pacific offers its Chemgrate Molded Grating line in your choice of three resin systems, assuring a resin system suited to the unique requirements of each customer application.

FS-25 RESIN SYSTEM – Corrosion-resistance plus Fire Retardancy. Designed for applications where there is moderate exposure to corrosive elements, FS-25 is a polyester resin system, providing a flame spread rating of 25 or less (ASTM E-84). This resin system is an ideal choice for applications where moderate corrosion is present. When you require a cost-effective grating that will stand up to moderate corrosion exposure and will outperform other materials, rely on Chemgrate FS-25. Standard color – green (also available in yellow or light gray).

CP-84 RESIN SYSTEM – Excellent corrosion-resistance in highly acidic conditions. This non-fire retardant resin is a chemical grade thermoset that has been proven under the toughest conditions. This resin system has USDA acceptance for use in food processing plants. Standard CP-84 is a translucent green that resists fading and requires no additives to protect against normal UV rays. Custom colors available on request.

VE-25 RESIN SYSTEM – Outstanding corrosion-resistance in acidic and caustic environments, plus Fire Retardancy. VE-25, a premium vinyl ester resin system, is formulated to resist the highly corrosive properties of acids and caustics found in the harshest chemical environment. Additionally, VE-25 offers a flame spread rating of 15 or less (per ASTM E-84). This superior resin system will maintain its structural integrity at elevated temperatures of up to 180OF, yet is strong and light weight. When extremely harsh chemicals and high temperatures are present, specify Chemgrate VE-25 Resin system for grating that will withstand the most demanding conditions. Standard color – orange (also available in dark gray).
