Nosings and Treads preferred components for stairs and landings. Commonly available
in cast iron and cast aluminum, SuperTread products are also readily available in extruded
aluminum carriers with a solid abrasive fill. Maximum pedestrian safety is provided
by the anti-slip walking surface and OSHA conforming barrier free installation.
SuperTread Nosings form a highly visible, defined and durable lead edge at the primary
point of contact on stairs and landings. Impact resistant, SuperTread Nosings and
Treads protect exposed concrete edges that are often prone to chipping and cracking. |
| CAST NOSINGS & TREADS |

| GPI SuperTread Stair Nosings and Treads are sand finish castings with abrasive embedded to a minimum depth of 1/16 inch in the wear surface. Cross hatching or fluting is clean and well defined to a minimum depth of 1/16 inch. Available in cast iron, cast aluminum and cast bronze abrasive in lengths up to 8'-0". |
